Somethings are just right as they are. Taking the cardboard strip out of the Bounty Bar is a heinous wrong, the seriousness of which has been well documented. This* should never have happened to this. And then there’s the time when Margaret Michaels took over from Victoria Principal as Pamela Ewing in Dallas.
But let’s not forget that after the sorrow at the end of The Phantom Raspberry blower of Old London Town came the joy of Diana Dors in The Worm That Turned.
So, here we are….the new home of the blog. Margaret Michaels or Diana Dors: you decide.
* I would put a link to the Moanic Stoat Poachers 6th form-band assassination of ‘This Is the Day’ but I know no right minded person would want to hear it. Imagine how they might turn the quietly charming original into a musical atrocity and be assured its true awfulness goes far beyond.
Love it
Larger font yippee – wondering if the appeal of this shows my immaturity or the fact that my eyesight’s going.
Or perhaps you;re just sat nearer the screen….
Really like the new site Mark. Good job.
Thanks Mike, v kind
Excellent new site. VERY BIG LETTERS. And how had I not noticed the cardboard strip was missing from the Bounty I had the other day? It all makes sense now, my slight sense of unease…

Nothing is sacred and untouchable anymore
We had three feral children come to stay this weekend. They terrorised my girls (2 human, 3 warren, 5 bantam) with not dissimilar results to those achieved by Henry (may he rest in peace in that there oven). It’s lucky they’ve now left as I would’ve asked for your neighbour’s telephone number.. being new to the task of strangling noisy squawking terrorists.
You do have to cook feral children a little longer than cockerels though..and I find oregano works best rather than thyme
